How This Works — and What It Doesn't Do
This worksheet structures the two methods described in our sibling guide: a rotating pick (snake-draft order, reversing each round) and a point bid (100 points per participant, highest bid wins each item). - Participants take turns choosing one item at a time in a snake-draft order: the pick order reverses each round, so whoever picked last in round one picks first in round two. The worksheet generates the round-by-round order; the family fills in what was actually picked as they go.
- How does the point bid method work?
- Each participant starts with 100 points to spread across the items they want most. For each item, whoever bid the most points wins it. A tie at the top bid is flagged for a re-bid rather than decided automatically.
